Red Dead Redemption 2 Red Dead Redemption 2 is the new video game in the Red Dead series. It is not a sequel though, but a prequel to Red Dead Redemption, and the sequel to Red Dead Revolver, the first part of the series released back in 2004. The game is a western with action elements set in the Wild West of 1899. The players are controlling Arthur Morgan whose main task is to fight off the enemies of Dutch van der Linde’s gang. Read Dead Redemption became one of the best games released on the seventh generation of platform: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It received a marvellous reaction from both fans and the industry. As an open-world game it gave players lots of opportunities to engage with the wild world of western part of the 19 th century USA.
